Another ducat for my collection

    Picked up this nice AU50-55 for my collection
    This 1757 Holland is rated R.- R.1 ( Not Common - Rare) by Delmonte

    Another interesting fact about this coin; it is exactly 200 years older than I am !!!!:bow:

    Here's a different photo angle/setup with a little larger photos. The coin does have some nice lustre hidden within the crevices/edges of the devices.

    This ducat is a common "type", but uncommon "mint year" , at an uncommon "fair price" in today's market.

    Nice...AU though ? These are normally graded on pretty high standards ! I guess American AU is continental EF...

    From my experience it seems so ... the majority of the time they are AU or low end MS.
    Depends on the European dealer/auction house's grading standards.
