Cherry Picked through about 50 or so barber halves at the flea land last weekend. Decided on this. $9 was the price. Beats a fast food meal. By chance does that have a hint of luster to it???

The only shiny "luster" I see is the plastic bag it is in...take it out of the bag next time ;)

furry if you look on the obverse slightly to the right of the nose you see that little bit of shine in there? could be luster?

Your coin is pretty well circulated. Not luster. For future reference, it really does help to take pictures of your coins out of whatever holder it is in. Welcome to the forum, btw.

If there's "shine" there, it's from being rubbed or polished -- that coin looks to be VG or so, and there's no way any luster would survive that amount of wear.

Please do post pictures of both sides, out of the plastic. I'm curious how much of LIBERTY is there. I'm guessing more than three letters, but less than all seven.

Definitely a righteous buy for $9. Welcome to CoinTalk!
