1787 King George Spade Guinea

Hi Everyone!

I am in New Zealand and we have limited stores that provide valuations.

I was wondering what this coin is worth... from my research I'm thinking any where between 300 and 1200 pounds.

Please can you enlighten me?

@panzerman might be able to tell you. he collects a lot of gold coins.

 

There is 1 on Ebay now for 490 pounds , but your is in better grade

 

Actually 2 on Ebay now 2nd is nicer and goes for $989.35 dollars

my 2002 18th century world coin catalog says it's KM#609, .917 gold,
I will not even put the values down because I am sure the coin is worth more now because of the gold weight alone. What was the grade the seller put on this coin ?

No.... my World coin catalog was printed in that year. In 2002 it is the 3rd edition. I wish @panzerman would say what your coin might be worth.
