1964 d nickel date and liberty stamp over

    I see split serifs on the T in liberty. Looks like a DDO.

    Stamp over? Coins are not stamped they are struck. You mean doubled die? You can see the die deterioration. Die deterioration doubling. Imho.
    Let others chime in.

    That is die deterioration.
