    It appears to be a large date but I'd like to see a clearer, larger photo to be sure.

    Welcome to Coin Talk. If you're interested in collecting coins stick around. There are plenty of members on this site more than willing to help others but you should also start learning on your own. The best place to start is to buy the red book. Official title is "A Guide Book of United States Coins" It can be purchased online and it's not expensive.

    Weigh it if it is 3.1 grams it is copper alloy if 2.5 grams it is copper plated zinc.
