1972 d Half dollar error?

    Good evening guys. I’m a newbie in this coin collection and I wonder if anyone can help me identify if this is an error coin. Thanks in advance.

    Hello and welcome! That is not an error, it looks like the coin was glued to something. What you see is the remaining glue that stayed on the coin's surface.

    Sometimes, glue will appear that it is part of the metal when it is not, BUT, we will see what the bona fide experts have to chime in, something that I am not.
