Coolest thing I ever seen. It looks like a 1987 to be honest, but one thing for sure is that it is a error coin and yes D mint

I found a parking lot Penny today dated 1980 that still had cartwheel luster on the reverse!

Yeah, sorry to break it to you but your coin is just damaged. Also, I don’t believe there is such a thing as a pac man coin.

If you read that thread, it came from an Etsy sale which is a notorious breeding ground for coin scams.

I’m sure someone more knowledgeable will come around and respond.

Keep looking and welcome to coin talk.

No need for more pics. It's easy to tell that your coin was damaged after it left the mint and isn't an error (as others have already said).

There is no such thing as a "rare pacman error". That coin was also damaged but somebody was pulling a scam on etsy and trying to sell it as an error.

It looks like your coin was squeezed in a press or vice. The design is flattened, it's bent, and looks out of round.

More important, as you study the minting and die making process, you'll easily see that this could not have been made at the mint. Here is a link with information on how coins are made. Take a look.
