Well I walked the floor.... sold two buffalos.....then I did a second swing....knowing my targets the 1869 was a no brainer....it was one of those that sat out in the tray.
I also purchased two world coins.... both were scouted before purchase.

Good guess. Yes and no. Au53 is my grade, but the label says XF45 ;-)

Was this submitted within the last 18 months? They have been brutal but an XF grade is very unfair.

No, it’s an OGH. No way this coin would grade XF nowadays.

Just purchased on Great Collections, can't wait to crack it open and put in my Dansco book.

I’ll cross it over to NGC along with two other coins. This beauty will fill a slot in my Bust half registry set.

Picked this up at the coin show Friday. We searched every dealer's Standing Liberty quarters before deciding on this one.

I’d never give up the ogh. Personally those are my favorite holder and bust halves always bring more in pcgs holders. You’d get more for resale in a green pcgs with a gold bean than in any ngc au holder

Maybe, but I have no intentions to sell it. Crossing it over to NGC allows me to add it to my Bustie set. I also want to see pictures when I do the cert lookup. NGC takes decent pictures nowadays.
