Not a bad find but not in the greatest of shape, I'm happy, it fills another hole in the old Whitman folder. :)

I would not put that coin into my Whitman book, due to contamination of the book. Well not if I plan to replace it with a better coin. I am not to keen on post-82 LMC, I have filled one book from best of pocket change over the years and that is
pretty much it for zinc cents. I had to buy one of these to get all the "82's".

Are you saying that it could spread from penny to penny?

What do you mean by contamination?

Zinc Oxide contamination, You know, the stuff that make bumps on the surface of the New Cents. As in Zinc Rot.

I know what contamination is but can it spread if the coins are not touching?

. . . and BTW, just out of curiosity, how long does it say "New Member" under my name? :)

You can change it yourself.. I don't remember how but play around with your account settings and you will figure it out. Or someone might explain.
