1803 Draped Bust Dollar - and it does weigh 27 grams. I'm sure the hole hurts the value - but was wondering how much it hurt.
I noticed when the coin is flipped, the eagle does not align itself center to center like all the other coins I see - it looks to be off center (second picture), in regards to the date. Looking for estimated value. 2019-01-14_11-33-35_992.jpg 2019-01-19_09-22-56_101.jpg

I'm gonna stick my neck out and say I'm not sure it's genuine. I think I see some pimples on it and I've seen fakes that have a similar color and appearance. Rims maybe a bit sharp for the rest of the wear on the coin?

I'm maybe gun-shy, but the TPG's once condemned one I sent in that looked a lot like this one...

Not sure when the fake's were produced ….. but I have had this coin for over 50 years.

Early dollars are not my main thing. So, if not for the dings and hole, what grade regarding wear do you see here? VG-8? F-12? My general rule of thumb for holed coins is 75% off of price guide for RETAIL value. Wholesale is even less.

Observation from the cheap seats. The toning on this one looks natural to me. And wouldn’t the hole lend some credence to this one being authentic?..... I fly by my gut too often, but I get the feel this one is the real deal.

I examined the date digits closely, a frequent giveaway, and these look real to me.

Is the inside of the hole shiny as though it were worn on a chain or string?

It appears the dollar was a necklace with the eagle as the focal point. With the obverse appearing a bit more worn than the reverse I would expect that the hole would show signs of being on a cord or chain.

This would be the large date version wouldn’t it? Looks spot on to me too.

Yup, or "large 3" in some sources.

Since you asked for value I'm gonna go out on a limb with my not so professional opinion and say $400 to $500 even in that condition.

It's tough to even guess the value of something like this. There are folks that would love to own it and others that don't really want it. It would be around $300 or $400 without the problems.

Looks to be F12 to F15, based on PCGS Photograde images. CDN retail suggests c. $2100-2400 retail. At 75% discount for damage, maybe $5-600 asking price. Maybe half that wholesale. Does any of this make sense?
(I got my own type example, VF, no hole, at a Saturday morning informal auction hosted by an upscale coin shop in downtown Caracas, Venezuela for about $220 USD equivalent. But that was a LOT of years ago, when there was still a country there....

I think you're just about on it there.
