Has anyone used the twist n crimp from N.F. String & Son for making up rolls? I want to make up some rolls of cents, nickels and dimes for for long term storage. Looks like a neat little gadget and cheap compared to a professional roll crimping machine.

The first 50 or so rolls you crimp will look like an amateur did it with lousy equipment, but with practice you'll be able to make shotgun rolls that look like they came straight from Brinks.

Hey great idea !!! You could put VDB reverses on one end !!!!!

Actually, I like the white square tubes for long term storage if the rolls are not original, if bankrolled....in a ziplock in tupperware.

Thanks for the replies. I just thought it would be cheaper to do it this way than to buy 500 or so coin tubes. That's a good one Jack, I'll put a VDB on one end and a 1910-S in AG on the other end.The other coins will be all common memorial cents. I'll sandpaper the outside of the roll to make it look old and then say I found these in a storage unit and I just want to get rid of them, they look like old coins to me but I don't know anything about coins so I'm selling them. LOL!
You know I hate these eBay crooks as much as you and I try to expose them every chance I get. If you remember I was the guy that posted about that 1916-D mercury dime that was actually an altered S and the guy wouldn't pull the auction after a lot of us asked him to, finally eBay ended it with the help of all the good folks on this forum.
    OK don't get me started!
The guys doing that wheat cent roll salting are scum! I love your unsearched tube auction by the way and made an early bid on it.
Anyway I don't sell my coins my kids won't let me, I just collect and maybe hoard copper and silver to help weigh down the safe.:D

Stick to the hard plastic rolls. Cost more but sure do the job. I've had some coins in them for many, many, many years.
