How many Numismatic Organizations or societies or groups are you a member of? Feel free to tell us any that weren't listed.
I'm sure @V. Kurt Bellman has plenty of them to list.

(checks cards in wallet) "Let's see, I'm an Elk, a Mason, a Communist, I'm the president of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance for some reason..." (/obligatory Simpsons quote)

But seriously, I am a member of ACCG (Ancient Coin Collectors Guild) and CWTS (Civil War Token Society). I also receive the E-sylum (electronic newsletter of the Numismatic Bibliomania Society) although I am not a member of the society.

I applied to the Numismatic Literary Guild, recommended by Dave Harper of "NumiNews", they cashed my check, and the previous Executive Director died, and I never heard from them.

As for fraternal or service organizations, nah, I do that at work. By the way, I've spent 14 years total in government service in two stints, but have never been in a union even a single day in my life, and I like it that way.

Oh, hey -- I am a member of the Barber Coin Collectors' Society. If you'd tried to tell me that ten years ago, I would've said "those ugly things? No way!"

And as long as we're venturing outside numismatics, I've been a member of the Association for Computing Machinery for going on 35 years now. Even though I still don't really self-identify as a computing machine.

Yeah, I feel the same way about the Seated Collectors. I figure I already sit too much at work.

I joined the American Israel Numismatic Association last year at the recommendation of @Deacon Ray. I wasn’t disappointed. I get a monthly booklet, The Shekel, with lots of great reading, and a yearly medal. 01B3D1AE-824B-4833-BDC3-F2FE6DEC2C0A.jpeg C768AC37-081F-4B6D-9DD7-F750E76CC4BE.jpeg

Incredibly, the ANA. As much as I gripe, membership is required by my insurance carrier and for certain other perks.
