There is a 1944 Transitional Mint Error. That means that there were Steel Blank Planchets left over from 1943. The 1944 were struck on them. Those are worth thousands. The Copper 1944 were made on spent copper shell casings. Yours is well circulated.

Hi I acquired a 1944 D penny today March 28th 2019, now at the bottom on the obverse side along the rim there is VDB stamped into it. I can't seem to find that anywhere on the internet do I have an error coin? - Edited -
It's normal.. That's where the VDB should be.. E-mails are not allowed on posts. I have reported your post.
I was trying to actually help you so you might use common sense and delete it. And I wasn't trying to scare you.. So take your Cent and get lost.
By reporting it to the moderators, they could quickly remove your email before too many bots grabbed it and spammed you to help and back. That's something that should scare you
The warning you received did not included any infraction points, it was just to be helpful. It helps a lot to read the rules. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/coin-talk-rules.34131/ Jim
