    @LCober my apologies for being part of the hijacking of your thread... what started ended a bit more than it should have.

    BTW, your coin is not DDO and there is a lot to learn for things that seem, to a newer person, to be so.

    Well if you want to get back to the original post.
    1982-D quarter.
    You can first check if there are any known doubled dies for this year, mint mark and denomination. Wexler shows this: http://doubleddie.com/1827546.html
    Yours is probably not a DD, I find that MOST of the 1982 and 1983 Washington's are very mushy. Worn dies that were over used I believe.
    The one Wexler variety is not very prominent, but compare your IN GOD WE TRUST
    to the one in the link.
