    Double Die I know just enough to be dangerous

    I see too many dings on both sides and don't think it will get an MS anything IMHO.

    Still a nice coin however and definitely a keeper.

    Circulated. Not ms at all. There are some hard stricks on the “u” and the “e” in United and on the “n” of one.

    Yes it's brown. It's not even red/brown.
    As for a grade there are a number of scratches.
    The toning may or may not be natural. It is prob AU.

    A strong XF, maybe a weak AU. It's brown, not red. This is Red: IMG_2947.JPG IMG_2948.JPG

    I would say that’s a ms63-65? Is that slabbed?

    @gianni that’s a ms++ uncirculated 1956p red cent

    Another example of red. It is ungraded but might reach MS65 RD, but is quite possibly a 64.

    Yours is a very attractive coin and that is the kind of look I like for my earlier Lincolns.

    physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

    Based on the discoloration I see on the high points, especially Lincoln's cheek and jaw, I'd say this coin is AU.

    And, that is fully brown. There are glimmers of red in the very most protected areas, but I don't think that's even enough to warrant a Red-Brown (RB) designation.

    May I make a suggestion? I highly suggest you buy a book and learn how to grade. You've posted several coins lately with fanciful grades. I feel like a good education in how to grade would serve you well.

    I want to recommend The Art and Science of Grading Coins, which I have enjoyed reading.
