wxcoin Getting no respect since I was a baby

What's the grade on that 1916? The middle bands should keep it from being FB.

Great coin, has the look of a much higher grade proof must have some hairlines not visible in the images?

I was surprised by the rather low grade (PR64) also. I can't spot any hairlines inhand and I haven't seen as many proofs as the graders have. I have to give them the benefit of the doubt. Here is a link to the max size photo. Maybe you can spot something. https://images.pcgs.com/TrueView/81249278_max.jpg

I wasn't as concerned about the grade as I was about getting a proof Mercury with some color. This filled the bill nicely.

You definitely accomplished that goal it's one of the nicer looking ones I've seen and the grade only made it way less expensive!

The only imperfections I can see that look like they were as struck to me are in the red circle. The blue circle I thought maybe was a hit but the same mark is on the PF69s on coinfacts too. A perfect example of a time I'd have used the "see all images" feature, sigh

So yeah sure looks nice for a PF64, great pickup

Yeah, those inside the red circle look like mini die breaks. I don't think those would downgrade the coin very much, if at all. At least I think those are raised. Even the hit in the blue circle is rather obscure.
