Yes, it appears to be small date look at the "larger, taller" 8 and especially the outward bowing/curve of the 2 going into the base; versus that segment being straight. FYI, you may want to crop photos before you post them. Most if not all phones have this basic capability. Makes it easier for us.
It's worth about a 1 cent. Maybe 2 cents in metal content ... Don't read/video clickbait website or youtube videos. There's tons out there hawking 1982 cents as worth a million dollars when they're not. Those places are after likes and stuff for their advertisers to make money off of you.

It's worth 1 cent. The metal value is not worth 2 cents even if there is 2 cents of copper in there as it is an alloyed coin and to extract the copper is expensive, and if it were legal to melt copper cents for metal content, you would receive 1/2 cent for every cent. It is only valuable in mint state grade. About 50 cents high retail.
No one said anything out of line to you. We just get SO many new members asking about small date 82 cents, thinking they have the rare one, because they saw it on a YouTube video. Good info was also given on the different types. You need to have a little thicker skin!

It's only $24,999.99 over priced. oh, the good thing about that sale .. free shipping. #1 It's not rare #2 it's not even a 1982 D This makes one think that they may have the same valuation on their small date 1982. We get plenty of posts like this. Just search 1982 penny in the top right.
