    Anyone know if this penny is worth more than 1 cent? I think it is pretty cool. Found it in an old bag of pennies.

    Ok.... What can you tell me about this one?

    I see some reflections from the lighting that occasionally form a bit of a halo around the lettering. And I see some corrosion starting as spots in many places. Other than that it seems pretty normal to me.

    Here's one for comparison. The dies here look pretty worn out, as evidenced by the "orange peel" granularity on the forehead. It is also shown in post #4515 in this thread, where the fuller picture shows some poor striking all along the obverse rim.
