this nickel is smaller has no rim the top of the date and some lettering are cut off . could it be the wrong planchet.also notice how the I over lapes the n in cents . it is also very gray in color but in very fine condition
Not really. It's damage. Lools like it could of been caught in a clothes dryer. Between the Drum and the wall. They are called dryer coins. Not on wrong Planchet. Not a Mint Error.
