at least that's what it looks likes to an old coyboy lol. this penny is really messed up it has a rope rim top,and bottom the figure between the pillors isn't there . nor is fg initials along with other problems what do you think
I wish you guys could see this penny in your hand under a magnifying glass the rope looking ridges on the rim are just to even to have been done with a wire brush and the color is to even not sure what happened but I don't think it was a wire brush imo
definitely damaged though I wouldn't think a wire brush create that specific damage especially since a wire brush would push/defacing the letters, etc (all dependent upon speed, pressure, etc) Either way, that's one messed up cent. Maybe someone used a texturing hammer on the rim which is used in crafts all the time of which they do use coins too. Of course the surface of the cent is messed up too.
