I can't believe the person who placed the coins in the tubes would not have looked or know the value of a 1909 s -VDB.

If I owned this roll it would have been searched as soon a I got it.

Maybe someone will hit the lottery.

I will sit this one out.

It's amusing but the ad title is misleading ~ and many people bid before they read the whole ad (their fault, I know). But if he were 100% candid the ad would read 'searched'.

No, he clearly says that its searched and lets it be known exactly what will be found in the roll. I think its great. How many unsearched rolls do you see on ebay with a key date showing on the end. They always sell for way more than they ever should. And if you check the feedback, everyone that buys one of those salted rolls, claims that the only good coin in the roll was the key date that was showing on the end. But this guys a class act. I think this seller will get the attention of some of the people who commonly bid on those so called unsearched rolls and maybe make them stop and think.

I LOVE it Jack and look you got a bid!

If it's not enough to cover do you have to sell? Suppose we should consult Bonedigger on that.

I've actually run auctions myself where I salt the lot more as the bid goes up. You really can't get more honest than that.

I just may toss a bid on this one.

You cant point something out like that. Use it in your favor to win the auction for $2 cheaper than everyone else thinks they can.
