You can create a showcase on here to upload your photos to. It’s in the menu next to “Forum”.

If you have questions on individual coins the. I’d suggest creating new threads for each coin. You won’t get very many responses if you put them all in one thread.

Post mint damage. Some one did that after it left the mint, for fun I guess.

Doming is quite common in the "artsy" world of using coins to create crafts.

Usually it's accompanied by drilling two holes in them and making a charm bracelet out of a bunch of them. Or more complex ones with bezels (such as below).

Just search "domed penny bracelet" and you'll get plenty of pictures to go with it.

Of course, you have the ppl that know how to do it right, and the ppl who don't. So you'll find misshaped ones from time to time that are just junked. We had a thread a few months back where someone had one partially and to the side domed. Pics from the internet:

Oh man ... the two picture examples I gave had no holes in them either. Did you *read* my post or just read what you wanted to read and discarded the rest?

Remember crafts ... people have to *first* learn how to do them. No one is ever perfect the very first time, or in some cases, never get it done right. Some do it in simple means, and evolve over time .. like years even !!

Plus, it may not even be for a bracelet. They can be used for many, many things ... unlimited reasons !!

My late father-in-law was a long haul driver. He did and you do now, had/have an excellent source with which to hunt for coins, what with all the truck stops and diners.

When I travel and get coins from circulation, I fold them up in kleenex or paper towels so the obverse and reverse of each coin will not get any more contact marks, scratches or scuffs.

Those go into a ziplock bag and I have 100-200 coins to look at when I get home.

Welcome to CoinTalk! Good luck coin hunting and be safe out there on the roads...Spark

Sorry dude, I don’t see any errors. The experts will be around but so far they just look like regular coins with die deterioration and many years of wear.

I too see nothing special about these pennies. Don't you have a camera that can a whole, in focus, picture? Your partially clipped photos aren't really helpful.

@Mattellis what people are trying to say is that it takes time to play guessing games, "What's wrong with my coin", but much easier to respond to "I think the legend on this coin is doubled". Plus, people come here to be entertained and not to answer very long questions with multiple parts. Split them up and both you and us will get more out of it. BTW welcome to CT.

I'm getting a little tired of you frank. Step off your cloud once in a while. You need to tone it down.
