    Hi @abelincoln64

This US cent was no doubt minted in Philadelphia where the "p" mint mark was not added to the US cent coins until 2017.

I can not tell if there is doubling. The photos are blurry to my eyes.

But I will say, does look like a DDO .
LIBERTY look thick to me .
OP, have you tried to match it to any of the ones listed on the variety sites ?

Yes I tried matching it but I'm new to this and not to sure about what's considered double die. And I will definitely pick up a scope, again sorry for the bad pics, I've stabilized my phone when taking a pick but still same results

It looks like it's on a copper planchet ?

Is that where it would have to be weighed to confirm which planchette

Yes, 1982 was the year the US Mint transitioned from a heavy copper planchet to the lighter zinc core with super thin copper plated planchet.

Notice the edge too on the lower right. I'm half asleep right now and my mind is blank.

The photos don't provide enough information, but I agree with Rick that LIBERTY, when enlarged, does look possibly doubled and it is a slight MAD (Misaligned Die).
