I found a cloth bad with 1 '64, 2 '65, 2 '66, 15 '67s, 15 '68s. The 64 65 66 didn't come out good, but are of the same quality.
I read that, but why would one keep them in a special pouch? It's not the silver because he's got a lot of silver coins.
They could have some special meaning to him, or he just wanted to have a clear space for them. We have no idea so just ask him if you really wanna know.
It's possible that these coins were found in bank rolls and no premium was paid for them. They'd probably not grade high enough to warrant encapsulation, but still, having .1479 silver content, they are worth keeping separated from the rest of the silver in the collection. Chris
In my experience, Pouches/Bags are often what Collectors put their "Junk" Coins and "Junk Silver" in... as they are essentially just bullion, and have no other Numismatic Value aside from Face Value. I keep "Junk Silver" dimes in a Crown Royal Bag.
You found my junk bag!!!! I'll pm you the address so you can return them to me! But seriously, nice find. In the past, I've kept junk Silver in a cloth bank bag.
