I have found that to get the Best of the knowledgeable answers here, its best to try to know your answer beforehand then seek an acknowledgement from experts. After All our Mods and Pros get the same questions over and over then give out the same answers they have given before , That can get taxing on their willingness to even offer free advice. So give your friendly pros a break and utilize the resources the forum supplies. Here's one every new collector should take 10 minutes to read.......http://doubleddie.com/58222.html Hug a Numismatist Today!!!!
That's great.. The only complaint I have is that I have shared the Doubleddie.com website more than once with some of the same members here.. and they still don't understand!
In my opinion.. I Disagree Many new members just want a quick yes or no and "how much is it worth?" responded to!
I hear you, us Gen X'rs rely on Senor Google too much.. That's why I go to Google Pro... Aka, send the questions to the CT Sensei's... Lol. Seriously though, learning everyday from you all.
Alexa how much is this worth? Pro Advice isn't an app the new gen needs to know knowledge is obtained not computer generated...
True. It's always nice to know the value. However, the knowledge you guys shed is more valuable to help new guys like me learn and grow. Thx Sensei @paddyman98
All my "Hey"'s are to Siri, and she's EXTREMELY good at few things, like weather and commute times (I can't get her to remember to tell me, "It's a stinking two minute walk, Kurt.") I've learned now how to get her to play my old hometown radio station over the myTuner app. Santa "discounted" me a $100 on a HomePod, and we're learning each other's idiosyncrasies. She WILL summon me an Uber or Lyft, though, and that's slick. Harrisburg Coin Club tonight.
To paraphrase Heinlein, poorly... Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time, and it annoys me.
