I was *so* excited... I've waited a few years and finally bought a sheet of uncut currency from the U.S. Mint website. It arrived yesterday. Am I over-reacting...? I feel like I should contact them and complain, but maybe I'm just being silly... your tactful comments are appreciated ;-)
I assume you're referring to the bent and damaged ends we can plainly see. Considering that surely they know why you buy these, then , yeah, complain loudly and bitterly, but they will probably just say it was OK when it was shipped. After all, they are the government. Edit : Sorry, I'm not very tactful.
Thanks for everyone's input. I called and they readily offered to send a prepaid return label and I'll then choose either a refund or a replacement. They didn't even need pictures. Oh, and when did the U.S. Mint absorb the BEP?
They didn't but the mint had the more modern eCommerce solution, so they took that over from the BEP.
believe it was a few months back, late summer early fall i got an e-mail stating that the mint was taking over bep sales and merging websites..
I'm glad you decided to return/exchange it. I definitely would too. In the past, they've always sent a pre-paid label to me when the product was not up to par.
I got a replacement from the BEP once, they were very nice about it, but they didn't send me a pre-paid return label. It's not fair, I tell ya!
