1960D Lincoln Cent small/large PMD question

Hey there,
I just received these two LMC as a freebie throw in from an eBay seller (thanks eBay seller!). Was trying to figure out small or large date but there is something going on at the end of the curl on the 6 on both coins. Is this PMD? I looks like more than just a smush. Anyhow, any insight would be appreciated.

Looks like die Chips. Both coins struck from the same die.

 

P.S. these are large dates.

 

Thanks. Now that the photos are here on CT and I can zoom in really close/clear I agree that they appear to be die chips. Very cool that they appear to haveh come from the same die.

If those two OP coins were struck from the same die, there was a pretty severe die scrub job between the two. Many more lines near the date on the lower one.

 

Any "Die Chips" on the Reverse?

 

Well, now that you mention it...check the top right corner of the building. Other reverse included for comparison.
