I think the one you’re looking to purchase is the best looking one of the group. Good luck!

I am an error collector more than anything I guess (my thought is most anyone can own a 1909 S VDB cent but how many can own an Error one) no I have not got one ...YET. anyway I have a slight off center Feuchtwanger cent. I kinda like. here's a picture View attachment 868715 View attachment 868715

I do have 3, one is AU, other 2 lower grade. I cannot locate them in my safe, it’s so darn full!

More of a misaligned die strike than off center, I think, but a lovely example.

BTW, I too have been miles off on the pronunciation... for decades. Probably too late to change my ways now.

I most likely have been saying it wrong too, but I am southern..that's my excuse.

Finally found the images. Lower grade example. I think Eduard's sets the standard here.

I actually still have one! After converting over to collecting Ancients, I kept a few odd-type coins. I will have to find my pics... but I love this little gem, as it was forward thinking.

Lewis Feuchtwanger was born in Bavaria (Germany), he emigrated to the US in 1829. So the way his name is/was pronounced by Americans is most likely wrong :)

    Check this out:

As a native German speaker, I can tell you that’s pretty good and exactly the way I’d pronounce it.

Hey I found pics of my Feuchtwanger cent. It was graded AU55 by NGC; a common variety but a really nice example:
