    The emperor Titus was born on this day in 39 AD. Let's celebrate by posting some of his coins.

    Here's a denarius with one of my favourite portraits of him.

    Great coin, David! I'll mix it up a little bit and share a Titus restoration issue of Augustus (my avatar).

    The coin I posted which kicked off this thread has a fairly conventional looking portrait. Here is a very unconventional portrait from Ephesus.
