I did not intend to delete the picture. Not sure if what happened? I am convinced it's from CharelstCh at this point, I've found attributed tokens abbreviating Charleston as Chas listed in Cunningham and have on excellent authority from numismatist John Kallman where the chip was from. For whatever reason Cunningham left a lot of chips out of his reference.
I bought this at the Panjiayuan antique market in Beijing, which is, of course, mostly reproduction. Among the hundreds of snuff bottles you can buy there, this caught my eye for obvious reasons, as it reproduces Robert Scot's design for early US coins. I've been back a couple of times and I've only ever seen the one. Perhaps an inch and a half high.
Here's a few of mine, at least one I've already posted but it's still a favorite! Oh, I just realized the slave token isn't mine but I'm gonna leave it, it's one I was bidding on but I didn't win. The rest are mine.
Here's more with a couple of medals in my collection. Most of my collection is pictorial tokens, with an occasional medal thrown in if I like it enough to buy. The Anti-Tobacco Temperance token just sold a few days ago on the bay as I have a better one.
