Is this 1936 DD Obv Legit?

    I'm no expert. I've just learn what to look for. What happen's if you use what. Keep digging the coin or coins your looking for are out there.

    It is a error coin. I wouldn't buy it due to the cleaning process that he stated to me.

    It is definitely, without a doubt, a DDO, either I or II, not sure. The easiest way to tell is by looking at the 3 things: First is the 1 in the date, it should show obvious separation and one side higher than the other; Second is on the 9 in the date. The left part of the loop in the nine is clearly separated, and third, in order to determine whether it is a DDO-I or DDO-II is by the R in LIBERTY. If the bottom left vertical part of the R is slightly thinner than the rest of the other parts, then it is a DDO-II. Your pic clearly shows separation on the 1 and the 9 but I can't see LIBERTY that well, either way you've got a keeper.
