what do you call a Morgan dollar that has drawn in "damage" graffiti style? if I'm selling it. I want to be honest about it. Is that what is called hobo coin? or ??? this particular coin has eyelashes, lip extensions and inappropriate marks on the reverse on the eagle.

Graffiti or intentional damage is acceptable terminology.
That coin won't go for much at all over melt value

It's graffiti, but unusual enough to be unique and somewhat interesting. Given that some naughty person put human breasts on the eagle, it could fetch a modest premium over melt to someone who found it intriguing enough. I'd list it in the Love Tokens (Exonumia/Tokens: Love) category (or the Hobo Nickel category) if I were selling it on eBay, as people who collect love tokens or hobo carvings might find it curious enough to bid on it.

To a mainstream collector of Morgan dollars, it's just a cleaned coin with damage, but to somebody who likes unusual graffiti and carved coins, who knows?

@Savoyspecial- are you even around nowadays?

I would bid on it. Aside from the graffiti , it's not in bad condition. And that kind of stuff does make it just acceptable as Show and Tell. I buy large silver coins with holes all the time. They can be worn as jewelry.

If you list it on eBay, please PM me the link, or PM me directly.

    Is that OK, LM?

I think offers like that are OK as long as they're done via private message.

I would call that coin Graffiti Art. Yes, it's damaged but to a collector of sorts it's very interesting and unique. A Graffiti Art Morgan Dollar, how novel.
