Normal cent. There must be a video out there about 1964 SMS coins. Seems like a lot of folks asking about them.

Of course! I found one youtube video! It's our old friend Baba Beck.. Remember him?

There are many other videos.. Nonsense.

It's interesting how we get these waves of folks thinking they have something special. I hope that some join the hobby.

I thought every 1964 penny was a super-duper rare SMS.
I thought all cents found in weird places with weird scratches are rare mint errors too !!

@SharonNicole You got some good info, especially the link @alurid posted earlier. Do not take anything personally. The link explains why you can't find a 1964SMS in circulation. It's just so frustrating seeing frequent questions from New collectors asking if they have one. YouTube has some good stuff on coins, but the majority of it is just clowns looking for clicks. There is so much bad information, incomplete information, and downright lies, it's nearly impossible for a new collector to sort it out. Are there 1964SMS coins? Absolutely. Are they valuable? Absolutely. But they never tell you that you aren't going to find one in change. Then a new collector posts here and gets short comments (or inside jokes) and doesn't feel like they were helped.
