There is a post like this, maybe a few others too, but it was based on the same time frame I believe and the purpose was to start with a 2018 coin and go backwards. Last time I checked the last coin was from 1553.

 

luckily there is no time frame as long as someone posts within 2 days of last

Your idea of just going by some one posting ( anything) and then no one else does for 2 days is a winner, doesn't follow this rule. Sorry Jim.

this thread does not violate the rules the prize is "numismatics related" according to webster dictionary numismatics means

1. Of or relating to coins or currency.
2. Of or relating to numismatics.

so because the prizes is coins it relates. This forum is dieing i am trying to boost morale and give opportunity to the people who do not know as much so they can participate are you not aware how much web traffic this could bring coin collecting is suppose to be fun

 

The contest just needs to specify that responses should be numismatically related in order to be allowed. Easy fix. @ob3rst1337

The reason not many run an extended contest is that it requires a lot of time and efforts from them. They have to maintain and mail out prizes, put up with arguments from people who do not win. Resolve problems, many won't want to give out their addresses if they don't know you, etc.
