Unknown origin of the coin.

    Hi all. I got a hold of this coin and the person I got it from did not know the origin of the coin. I liked it so I purchased it. Thought I would be able to find something about it in the coin catalogs I have but as for now , nothing. Anyone in this group may have an idea or know what it is? Your help is greatly appreciated.     I believe it's a gaming token. You can find a listing of these in that style in TAMS Journal, Aug 1974, part II. TAMS is Token and Medal Society. You can download a copy at the Internet Archive. See link.

    @Paddy . Thanks for taking the time to look. I did see that one on Numista but it is different than mine. The legend on my coin only shows Victoria Dei Gratia. Unlike the one on Numista which has the K.VICTORIA P.ALBERT.

    Woot there it is. Thanks a million. Darn, I've looked all over and couldn't find anything on it until now. I'll be sure to add this token catalog to my collection.
