It seems almost inevitable that a JC lifetime portrait denarius bullies its way to the top of any list, but all of the other coins on the list are really enviable, too. Except for the very nice Nemausus, which I would rank higher, the list just got better and better as I scrolled down. I've always admired Steve's Commodus-as-Herc bronze, and if I didn't already have one, I would definitely have bought it. Congrats on the excellent coin year! :)

    So true!!

The Nemausus is a real stand-out. It's hard to find them in such good condition with such comparatively good centering!

I'm getting green about the Commodus-as-Hercules coins shown in these Top Ten lists! So far the type has eluded me. Congrats on snagging one!

Great coins @Gavin Richardson and I really love the Diocletian abdication follis. That one is next on my list for the tetrarchy. Thankfully I recently got a Maxentius, which was my last missing tetrarch. I've bid on many but always lost until a few weeks ago.

All great coins, Gavin! Of course the Julius Caesar lifetime’s portrait is on the top of any wish list, but I really liked the abdication follis. It was very well struck.
