I hate auctions like that where you got to read through all that crap to look at the pictures of what you might be interested in bidding on. With as slow as I type, it would take me all day to type all that stuff!

With 288000 printed and Gem's going at 90K...I wonder how long this will be up for...LOL
These ntes were issued "only" among Banks and not to be put in General Public circulation.
So I suppose a banker long ago slipped one into the the ole home safe and whallah...made a fortune selling it to a private person.

The BEP sometimes displays it's specimen sheet's of these gold notes.

    priceless!!

that is truly one sharp note. I assume, however, that if it could be proven to come from a new york bank  well, we might see RickeyB post a picture of it as a new aquisition :D j/k

i dont know if its true value, but wow is it nice!

I think I'd rather have a mansion, tons of toys, and never work again, than that note. Call me silly.

Well according to the books I have on paper notes the highest listed price is $30,000.00 But that from a 2006 Blackbook as well there is no mention of a grade GEM67 in the book just UNC as the highest.

Also i just offered him 10 bucks for it to mess around. Auto declined lol.

You must admit, though, brilliant selling tactic. Buy it now, for a cool $20,995,000. No wonder he was able to attract 9 bidders. I mean, hell, it's not as if he's asking $21,000,000! :D

I always see Porsche Ahmet selling these expensive bills. Has anyone ever been to the arcade store or whatever his store is called?

Porsche Ahmet is often the subject of discussion among US collectors on the Collectors Universe discussion board. He is frequently at the center of heated discussions.
