Just a guess, maybe die abrasions or planchet problem. I have quite a few in the same two doors but mine look more like feeder finger scrapes.
Yikes! Maybe have to hear from some others but I don't see how it would be feeder fingers scrapes since it is mostly just on the doors. Maybe a greasy die?
Sorry, I did not mean to say they (are) feeder finger scrapes on mine, they just look similar to feeder scrapes. I have not quite figured it out yet but leaning towards a planchet defect. I have another anomaly with the Ellis Island issue. There is a perfectly horizontal line, raised, in front of the chest of the male immigrant. Have not figured that one out yet either.
