In speech and debate, we had a secret Santa. I received a great gift. On the gift request list, I asked for a numismatic related book or magazine. Well I got a lot more that one book. I received from one person. The things I got today as a gift -Westward series nickel case -2011 National Park Quarters Folder -Whitman Coins:Questions and Answers -Red book 2018 -50 States Quarters 5 coin set -Washington Quarters 1999-2003 empty folder -Washington Quarters 1999 Empty folder -Sacajawea 2000-2004 Empty Folder -Adventures across the National Parks Collecting Guide -Small sample pack of 2x2s -2x Power Magnifier Thanks Phoenix!
That sounds fabulous! Red Book is important to have! But a 2x magnifier?.. I guess better than nothing
MANY more varieties covered than ever before. Consider it "The Mega Red" leaking some good stuff onto the regular Red Book.
Which version of the 2017 do you have? I'm in the market for the standard hard bound 2017. No spiral, no fancy shmancy $100 one.
Thanks, I will get one. My 2017 is the spiral one, I get them so they will lay flat while I'm searching coins.
Now blasted make sure you post your Present over in the Secret Santa thread........and we're gonna want to see pictures........
It IS a different art these days, Books. One debater yells “That’s racist!” and the other side has to go to mandatory sensitivity training. Voila! Millennial debate.
As far as I'm concerned "art" requires some level of creativity or original thought. Mindlessly spewing indoctrinated hate while accusing others of just that doesn't count. Still, you've pretty much summed it up and includes a number of discussions on this very board. Of course this isn't actual debate but simply an underhanded way of silencing the opposition and regardless of validity, but is the only goal such people embrace. Oh, and before someone is triggered, this obviously doesn't apply to all of said generation. It's a simple yet perfectly reasonable generality. No safe spaces required.
This sounds like the inserts you get when buying a new folder. You get 3 options to get a bundle of stuff for $7 I think. Sounds like you got all three of those bundles. Pretty cool!
