    I'm pretty good at geography, but have often had to lean on Google Maps during the course of this thread. ;)

    I actually learned more about history and geography through my early interest in coins than I ever did in all my years of formal education. I still rely on Google Maps to confirm many of my posts.

    I learned most of my geography from stamp collecting as a kid. But history/ geography were my fav. subjects in school, still are today.

    Two questions, panzerman. How do they know it's 1699; it says 1697? What's Wolfgang in English or French? Inquiring minds want to know!
