Hello, can someone help me make a decision on whether this is worth keeping? If it was a lower denomination I would just keep it but since it's a $100 I'm not sure because I don't really know the value of it. Is it worth $101 or $120? If I try to sell it what should I expect? Or should I just spend it? It does have a crease down the middle & a little bend in the corner but it looks decent. Thanks!
Looks like it's already seen a trifold wallet. It's cool, but what little I know about notes, I could be very wrong, collectors want 0 circulation wear on things like this. But I bet your coin dealer could pay a few dollars over face. A few.

Problem with notes like these is that it costs you $100 to keep. The serial number is neat but i dont think it carries much value over face. Personally, if it was 00000300 it would be more of a keeper and would be worth more than face. That's just my opinion though.
This note has demand being it has five leading zeroes (and six zeroes total at that). The notion that collectors only collect pristine-condition examples with high-denomination notes is not accurate. What one collector shuns another may love. I was once offered $25 for a fairly worn 2003 $5 note that had a serial number in the 300's. If your local dealer passes I'd offer it on the Where's George collector forum. It'd be guaranteed to sell on there and you'd not have to worry about incurring any rubbish fees like you would on eBay.
Thanks. I stand corrected I have seen several modern low number and star notes that were passed on by a small group of collectors because of creases or wear. I'll be more careful about replies I give.
While not in pristine condition it is in good enough shape to keep it. The serial number is considered low by most collectors. It will always be worth a little over face value. If you need the money go to your local coin shop with the intent to sell it. Welcome to CT.

As just a number, yes this is low but when you look at the serial as a whole with the suffix I would not consider this a low number. Suffix of ‘A’ or star would be prime low number. Again not all collectors think this way. So take it in and see.

I'm with you! Serial numbers are 8 digits and the lettering isn't a number. I guess the last letter must also be an A to be low. Just saying.
There is an accepted norm, and then there is an idea, deviated from that norm, that was created and while some people might believe it, the other 99.99% do not. It's like when the You Tube people decided that "trinary" was a valuable thing worth saving and paying over face for.
