I just requested a place in this contest. Sounds like a fun challenge.

That would be a whole lot of fun! I just wish I was not located on the exact opposite corner or the US. I won't be attending. :(

According to Baseball, you guys might as well not bother. This forum is nothing but wannabes and schmucks who wont even sniff top 10. The winner will no doubt be a CU forum member, thats where the "experts" reside. :p

I mean, to be fair, I doubt I have any shot. If it were strictly U.S. coins, then I'd have higher expectations for myself. The foreign coins will get me, I'm sure.

Your incessant trolling is now so bad that you're even trying to troll me on things I haven't even commented on.....

I look forward to you posting your perfect score

    Yawn

I wish I were going, but I cannot go this time. I doubt I would have done well with foreign coins anyway. For U.S. coins I think I could seriously compete.

You just gots to go to a Luncheon. Or know somebody who did. I think luncheon invitations go out to any member of the Registry, or anyone with any membership over there (even the free membership). Whenever I go, the luncheon is always a highlight of the show for me.

I hope to give it a try but not sure I'll have the time. Can't remember NGC doing a contest at FUN. The PCGS contests in the past were hard to find a time with a short line of folks waiting to take a try.

No, this is the first year NGC has ever done this.

I really like that you sign up for a time-slot, rather than just waiting in a line.

What does that mean? 10 out of 20 scores agreed with the PCGS grade?

    That seems really low....
