I am really new at this but what I think I see are: Large distance between 6 and 9, Mintmark is closer to date than other 69 cents I have, scratched die lines front and back, a shadow T under the T in trust. Are these errors or is this just a pretty penny.
I believe the Mint Mark was still hand punched into the Obverse Die in 1969. So you will see it in different locations near the year.
....I'm always learning - there seems to be something new coming on the market every year, or a new bit of info on the Press's used, or I see something I've never seen or heard about before. I've never had a boring day, week, month, year, or decade in the past 46+ years.
Thank you all I know a choice of hobbies could be a lot worse. I think I will practice on some pennies for awhile.
Don't be discouraged; it usually takes time for things to start "clicking", but when it finally happens it can be very rewarding even if not in the monetary sense. @BooksB4Coins made a great comment. Many of us have been collecting for decades and have looked at thousands or tens of thousands (or more) coins. The more coins you look at and study, the easier it will be to determine what is real, what is fake, and what is an error. Unfortunately, there really isn't a short cut. Just keep looking and asking questions.
