    I may still be new but that looks like 3 die I see 3 notches on that L and 3 serif's if that's what the - part of the L is called

    To me it looks like a serious case of DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling issue. IMHO

    Don't give up. It's very unusual and needs to be investigated more.

    I think pics can show detail but holding the coin and looking at it in person is the best judge of a coin

    this is held at an angle to show the same level doubling, not shelf Doubling

    yeah, but look how crisp and clear the RTY is .. and how irregular your coin's letters are.

    1984 d frist ddr od arrows .jpg I think its ddx3 so it's going to look irregular and were on the coin it's 34yrs old
