WOW. What a neat find. How did you get so lucky? Wish I could afford to buy it, but wait, maybe I'll find one too.
Keep an eye out in those parking lots, and yesiree, you too could become the next millionaire thousandaire hundredaire dude with a parking lot penny. Someone worked graveyard shift last night and should have gone to bed at 9:00-10:00 AM, but instead is still typing semidelirious drivel on an internet forum at 2:30 PM. Someone is going to regret this around 9:00-10:00 PM when someone will have to wake up from his short PM nap to go work graveyard shift again.
These allegedly "silly" threads are where true wisdom resides. The usual attempt to be earnest and helpful and supportive is where we create the monsters. [on edit: Just look at what the last few decades of American public education has produced. Not so funny any more, is it?]
ahh man , the forum software seems to have unchecked my first Best Answer which I believe was posted by a small, short legged dog. And left me with the poster, who, ironically, is a moderator. Maybe the mod un-Best Answered the other post ? What a scam!! We should be able to Best Answer all the answers to a post !! lol
Weigh it. I'm pretty sure its a super rare off-metal wrong planchet transitional piece. Only one known!
I also found 2 just like yours! I call them my lucky Penny's .. should I send them to get graded? A coin shop owner offered me $500.00 for each! I found out about these type of errers on youtoob! I'm going to clean my penny's in lemon juice to see if they get shinny!
I knew I got swindled as I posted this a week ago as MS70 and you told me it was only worth a penny because it was PMD. So I put it in circulation and you found it and now it’s worth $10K. What a coincidence. I get half the money for the sale.
