I take offense to that Most developers know the features they are tasked with are dumb or flawed. 9/10 times you can blame a manager, product owner, support staff, janitor, etc. for posing some unthought-out feature that people go, "that would be neat!". The idea may be really great, but then the product owner gets a hold of it and tasked with its inception. Then it usually gets expanded upon and bloated while a fictitious deadline was attached to it and that sometimes may or may not be communicated with the people working on said feature. Most developers can see the flaws in something pretty quickly. A lot of us are jerks and have no problem speaking our mind so we point it out. However, the answer is usually the same -- "Build it; get it done. Oh by the way, it's due a week from now".
I was referring to those people who force change on others. The people that you describe are having change forced on them just like the customers. I have no problem with people who are announcing and promoting their ideas. best regards
US auctions on line is indeed a strange place. Just in the past week of looking into it, routinely coins are overpriced and won. I get it. That's how you win an auction but some coins are bought for crazy bids over "industry" slabbed prices. Who are these people? A lot of good info on this thread, and I will look into a number of places other than eBay and US auction site. The odd thing is, original artwork tends to go for much less than what one might think on this site.
