Medal, not "metel". A medal is what you have there. It is made of metal. It's a pretty cool medal, too, but unfortunately I can't tell you how rare it is. I'd say it's not common. A few things- You know, when you attach them, there is a setting where you can display your photos full-size instead of thumbnail-sized. Where's the other side? From the the style of it, I would say that looks to have been made early in the last century, circa 1910-1920s.
