2- 1934 A $10 1- 1928 C $5 1- 1934 $5 10- 1935 C $1 I don't know much about paper and most of them are really rough. Any of these deserving of special treatment? Planning to give them to SlipperySocksJr as a cool stocking stuffer.
That was pretty cool to get!!! How did that story unfold? Did they just hand them over or did you have to beg?
A patron showed them to the teller saying it looked like play money and was going to throw them away. Teller said it was real and then gave her modern bills in exchange for them. Teller then called me saying she had $40.00 worth of something I would be very interested in circa 1935. I made a beeline for the bank before they closed and while it was not the 2 rolls of peace dollars I was hoping for it is still way cool to finally own some silver notes. Most interesting thing I have found paper wise is 3 $100.00 star notes until now.
