Hey guys, just picked this up at a local coin show. This is a large coin/amulet. Anyone know what it is or the value? Thanks!

I can’t help you, but I usually like to know that information before I buy a coin.
    Neat coin.

It seems like a 1000 cash coin but I can find any with engravings

I would say its not a coin. And yes to Amulet/Good Luck Piece.
    Google Chinese Good Fortune tokens/coins.
Its a nice Piece, And you should be able to get $5 worth of information about it.

    A modern replica of a Hsien-fêng Yüan-pao coin.

It should probably look closer to this. Not even 100% certain that this is real. The denomination on the reverse of yours (picture on the left) seems to be a denomination of 1000. Not sure of the mint mark.

Modern production. It is copying a Xianfeng value 1000 coin from Guilin province that had been amuletized.
