Provincial Roman?

I am home today with a sick FFIVN so I have been working on scrubbing some of the uncleaned lot that's been soaking awhile. I originally thought this would be a larger Constantine or something but once I got this as cleaned as I possibly can, it definitely doesn't seem to be a LRB like all the rest in the bunch.

I searched around and found a few examples on vcoins that look "similar" but not quite what I have. I was wondering if this was perhaps some type of Roman provincial, and if so, where from?

The examples I found are all from Hispania which also has me a bit confused since the uncleaned coins I bought are supposedly sourced from the Balkans. What are the odds of that? Also the examples on vcoins are much older than the LRBs that were in the group.

    Examples
    One
    Two
    Three

I see what seems to be an Epsilon on the obverse to the right of the portrait. On the reverse, I can't make out any characters. But the bull is pretty well defined. The die axis is also pretty crazy as you can tell from the photos.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or is it too far gone and a lost cause?

    Diameter: Approx 25mm
    Weight: 5.82g

Many different styles seem to pop up in Spanish mints of this period. Some look a bit like they were done by pre-school artists. I have not studied these in depth but have a couple. Same or different?

It does seem similiar to the top picture @dougsmit albeit, like you said, seemingly done by a preschool artist haha.

Hmm well I think it is narrowed down as much as can be with the terrible shape it is in. Still, not at all what I was expecting mixed in with a bunch of FEL TEMPs and GLORIA ROMANARUMs lol.

Is it possible that my old eyes distinguish a beard on the obverse character ? If so and you still think of provincial roman, many emperors like Marcus Aurelius, Commodus or Septimius Severius issued provincial coins with a bull on the reverse. Here is an exemple of an anonymous one from Bithynia-Pontus.

He isn’t bearded. Just really crusty haha. It definitely seems to go with the atyle of these spanish mints. I wish I could make out the lettering underneath the bull. That would probably help a ton!
